11+ Tuition and Refresher for parents to help support with homework

Whether you are hopeful for a grammar school place or grammar stream education through a comprehensive school or are simply wanting your child to get more used to exam conditions, Dads Unlimited have received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to provide 11+ tuition for free for children of separated parents. Aimed at children ages 9 – 10, please book your places here.
Aimed at helping separated parents to be able to better support their children through their studies as well as the children themselves around the ages of 9 through to GCSE stage. We have our very own tutor, Jack Hardy, who has previously tutored at Highflyers and does private tuition as well. He and his team will be on hand to help assist with any maths, english, verbal and non verbal reasoning and will hopefully shed some light on areas that may have been left back in the playground. Film Club- Star Wars- The Rise of Skywalker

Dads Unlimited Film Club gives single/ separated parents and their children a chance to come and watch a free movie, funded by the National Lottery and hosted by Dads Unlimited.
This months family film will be the new release of Star Wars- The Rise of Skywalker.
Anyone wanting to attend, this is for single/separated mums and dads/ co-parents and their children only.
To request your free tickets, please book your places now through Eventbrite so that we can book up the appropriate amount of seats for the movie showing. There will be up to 20 tickets available so please reserve now to avoid disappointment. Should you book and not attend, you will no long be eligible for any free tickets unless at least 48 hours notice of cancellation is given.
Marlowe’s Ghost- Escape Room
Saturday 25th January 2020 3.30pm – 4.30pm – Limited tickets available
This is the 2nd session of the day. For single parents and their children, this exciting escape room is bound to be a talking point for the day. As it can be a little scary, we would recommend a minimum age attendence of 10 years plus and all children need to be accompanied by an adult.
The ghost of the recently murdered Christopher Marlowe returns to haunt you. You owe him a debt. His work is at risk of being lost forever. It is up to you to save it.
Overcome a series of devilishly clever interactive games and puzzles in oder to unlock the soon -to-be-lost works of Marlowe.
Funded by the National Lottery, we able able to offers tickets for free. Should you book and not attend, you will no long be eligible for any free tickets unless at least 48 hours notice of cancellation is given.
The session will be for up to 6 people. Should this book up, we will be able to release additional times and you will be advised of this at the time of booking. Please book one adult per child family.
Clip n Climb- Dover Leisure Centre- Whitfield

One of our most popular activities that we host so we’re back for more.
For single/ separated parent mums, dads and their children, this will be the 3rd time that we have been to Clip n Climb and it’s such a fun session for adults and kids alike.
Hosted by Dads Unlimited and funded by the National Lottery, we are meeting up at 11am on Saturday 22nd February at the new Dover Leisure Centre for a fun packed climbing session.
We have booked out the facility and this takes up to 20 people, of which we can offer places for free so if you’d like to join us, please book your tickets now. Minimum age is 4 years plus. The tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis. If you are not climbing as an adult, please only book the child ticket but of course, we would love you to join in too.

Philharmonic Orchestra – Family Show – Marlowe Theatre

Join us for an exciting concert celebrating the Olympic spirit – the perfect way to get inspired for Tokyo 2020.
Cheer for the underdog, feel the thrill of a race, and share in the joy of triumph over adversity as you hear musical favourites from film and television, as well as timeless classics. Plus – stay on at the end and you’ll get to meet the Philharmonia’s musicians, conductor and presenter.
Storm Whale- Kids book play adaption – Marlowe Studio

The Storm Whale – Based on the award winning book by Benji Davies, this new piece of theatre tells the story of Noi, who lives with his Dad and six cats by the sea. One summer, while his Dad was busy at work, Noi rescued a little whale that washed up on the beach. A friendship began that changed their lives forever.
The following winter Noi’s Dad takes one last trip in his fishing boat. Noi is alone once more and longs to see his friend again. He waits and watches, watches and waits… will it take another storm to bring them back together?
