Trustee Board

Mark Wynter – Trustee

Mark has 20 years experience of working in TV Postproduction for The Farm Group, based in Soho London. In 2007 he set up a family-run Charity called “Heathers Cycle of Life”, which involved a charity bike ride around Kent that has raised over £100k for Cancer Research UK / Bobby Moore Fund.

As a Husband and Father, and having supported friends through their difficult separations, and realising that there is so little support for Dads generally; he couldn’t be more excited to get on board and help with this venture, and bring his TV and Broadcast Media skills and experience on board to make a difference to as many Dads as possible.

Marc Goddard – Trustee

Marc joined Pump Court Chambers in 2023. Prior to that, he was Senior Clerk at Stour Chambers for 15 years and before that spent 10 years in London at a commercial set, a large common law set, and a specialist family law set. Marc has a wealth of experience in relation to the management of Barristers’ Chambers.

He is involved in individual practice management, business development, strategic planning and marketing. His policy has always been to offer an open, friendly and efficient service to professional and lay clients.

Marc is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and currently sits on the Executive Committee and Management Committee.

Outside of the office, Marc sits on the Bar Council – Legal Services Committee

Clare Cox – Trustee

Clare is a small business owner in the administration and financial services sector where her business looks after c.70 wealth management companies.

She has 3 children. Her grown up son has mental health issues so it is important to Clare to provide support to a charity such as Dads Unlimited.  Clare is a new addition to the board but has already hosted a fundraising dinner and dance evening and a mud run for charity and is working closely with Millie to look at boosting funds through more charitable events and activities moving forward and continues to look forward to being a proactive member of the team.

Ben Leb – Trustee

Ben is a specialist real property and chancery barrister who regularly deals with various trusts and commercial disputes. His practice is eventful, varied and focuses on complex property, trusts and fraud litigation. Ben brings his experience in legal practice, compliance and commerce to his role as a trustee.

On a personal level, Ben has a real passion and vested interest in mental health service provision, the raising of awareness around suicide prevention and access to justice. Ben lives in Chislehurst, Kent and enjoys long walks on the Kent countryside and being at sea off the Kent Coast.

Dwight Adams – Trustee

Dwight has over 17 years experience working within the Retail & Hospitality Sector, holding Senior Commercial & Operational leadership roles. Dwight has extensive experience leading large scale profit improvements across Business Profit and Loss accounts.

He has also held a Colleague Network Chair role,  driving significant improvements within Company Policies, and procedures, as well as driving corporate awareness with Racial Equality and Diversity & Inclusion.

Joining the Trustee Board in 2022, Dwight has some lived experience of shared care arrangements, and is a Men’s Mental Health advocate. He is delighted to be part of the Dads Unlimited Board, and looks forward to supporting DU with future growth plans.

Zara Hickmott – Chair of Trustees

Zara has lived in Kent for her whole life and is a Mum to two adolescent children. Zara has nine years experience as a qualified social worker and a seventeen year career working in the care sector. As a social worker, Zara has worked in the child protection field, developing her passion in supporting and achieving change with the families she worked with. Zara has worked in practice development roles, undertaking auditing, mentoring and coaching less experienced workers, as well as undertaking practice teaching at local universities. More recently in 2017; Zara started assessing foster parents through the Form F process, providing robust and succinct reports to fostering panels.

Zara has a great deal of experience in working with Father’s, Step-Father’s and Grandfather’s as part of her role and feels passionately about their inclusion in safeguarding practice.

His experience straddles all facets of separation, from Court / Legal proceedings, Police assistance, Social Services, Education/Schools, NHS (Primary Care), and CAFCASS.

Nav brings to Dads Unlimited his vision, his values and a wealth of experience from having helped set up the Independent Police Complaints Commission; Senior positions from the NHS Chief Executive Scheme, as well as a host of strategic, tactical and operational roles from across Central Government, including the House of Commons, House of Lords and the Home Office.

The co-parenting programme was a groundbreaking moment. It has given me clarity. It has shifted my life so much. The quality of the mentoring support has been great. I was able to do things myself, but I received the support to take the correct routes. It empowered me, and I was in charge of my decisions but with the company of the mentoring service.
